Fine arts is that subject wherein students of class 11 can experiment with various forms of personal expression, besides painting, like photography and sculpture. This is, strictly speaking, a humanities subject-therefore, a school might attempt it.

According to the guidelines of CBSE, there is no authoritative definition saying that fine arts can only be studied in the scope of the humanities stream. Guidelines also say that schools can have a wide range of optional and additional subjects in 11th classes.

In case the 2025 CBSE Story-Telling Competition app doesn't work, you can try and use the secondary medium for video uploads, which is the CBSE Storytelling web-portal. Keep in mind that the alternative upload method for 2025 hasn't yet been announced. But for tips, it can be recalled that, in 2024, video uploads through the CBSE Storytelling App available in the Google Play store via Android phones were permitted. Make sure that the video is as follows: 2MB size maximum, and 2-minute duration for Primary, 2-3 minutes for Middle, and 3-4 minutes for Secondary and Senior Secondary.

Hi Bhawani Singh,

If you appear for a CBSE improvement exam and score lower than your original marks, the original marks will remain valid. The improvement exam is an opportunity to enhance your scores; if the new marks are higher, they will replace the old ones. However, if the new marks are lower, your original marks are retained. Therefore, CBSE will not issue a new marksheet if your improvement exam scores are less than your original marks.

Wishing you the best in your academic endeavors!
