Central University of Punjab accepts CUTE PG or Common University Entrance Test (Postgraduate) exams for admission to its M.Tech course. Interested applicants can access the CUET PG 2025 application form by visiting the official website. The first process will be registering themselves on the official web portal of CUET PG 2025. Through that registered account, further processing of filling out the application form will be done. However, candidates must have a valid qualification to be eligible for the exam.

Central University of Punjab M.Tech course admission is open since the CUET 2025 exam dates are out now. Candidates with valid qualifications can apply on the NTA website for the CUET exam. Further, after qualifying for the CUET PG entrance exam, candidates have to register for the Central University of Punjab Counselling process, which is conducted by the University for seat allocations.

Central University of Punjab offers an M.Tech course at the postgraduate level via the Department of Computer Science and Technology. The course curriculum is spread across four semesters, lasting two years. Further, candidates can choose between two specialisations: Computer Science and Technology and Computer Science and Technology in Cyber Security.

Central University of Punjab M.Tech fee is around INR 20,000 for two years. At the time of admission, the fee charged from the students includes tuition fee, examination fee, laboratory fee, sports fee, computer and internet fee and many other components. Further, candidates must also pay the CUET PG application fee. The application fee amount will be different as per category/ number of subjects applied by the candidates.

Candidates cannot join the Central University of Punjab without appearing for the central university's common test CUET for UG course. The eligibility criteria for UG courses at the Central University of Punjab require a valid score on CUET and Class 12 merit. The admission process for UG courses is based on CUET followed by the couselling rounds. Candidates must make sure to have Class 12 exam score from a recignised board before applying for the exam.

Central University of Punjab MA course has two ways to get direct admission for the academic session 2025:
- For MA and short term programme you can apply for the open/ direct admission for vacant seat by filling the online registration form and paying the admission fees online. Candidates can check the provisional selection list for various programs on the university website.

As per the official website of Central University of Punjab, students are offered part-time jobs at the university to make them independent under the “Earn While You Learn" scheme. To be eligible candidates must have registered in CUPB for any programme are eligible to apply for the scheme. Some of the part-time jobs students can do under the scheme are as assistants in the library, laboratory, computer centre, and store.

Central University of Punjab MA seats are allocated as per the counseling rounds that is conducted based on the CUET PG exam scores. After the counseling process, the university releases the provisional merit lists. All the candidates whose names are displayed on the admission are required to deposit the admission fee online through the online counseling portal for claiming their seat, failing which can lead to admission cancellation. Further, the Central University of Punjab also conducts spot or direct admission rounds for the remaining seats after the counseling rounds.

Central University of Punjab offers a total of 390 seats for its MA course. The seats are further subdivided across the multiple MA specialisations, namely Education (15 seats), Journalism and Mass Communication (35 seats), History (35 seats), Economics (40 seats), and more. To secure the MA seats, candidates must participate in the Central University of Punjab counseling process, conducted by the University based on the CUET PG 2025 exam scores.
