Central University of Punjab MTech CSE course duration is twi years. Almost all of the M.Tech courses in India are two years long. M.Tech CSE full form is Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering, a PG-level course meant for providing students with advanced knowledge about computer networking applications and data structures and algorithms. Central University of Punjab offers only one specialisations, i.e. Computer Science and Engineering. The course is offered in a full-time mode lasting for four years. However,  students are offered part-time jobs at the university to make them independent under the “Earn While You Learn" scheme. To be eligible candidates must have registered in CUPB for any programme are eligible to apply for the scheme. Some of the part-time jobs students can do under the scheme are as assistants in the library, laboratory, computer centre, and store.
