Yes, admission to an MTech in Food Technology program is often based on a candidate's B.Tech aggregate percentage, as given below:

The Central University of Punjab accepts CUET PG scores, followed by a counselling process for admisison to MA, MSc, MCom, MTech and LLM, among other PG courses. Central University of Punjab CUET PG cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 1, 2, 3 and 4 for General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS and PWD categories. As per the CUPB cutoff 2024 for CUET PG, the cutoff scores ranged between 15 and 241, among which M.A. in Psychology was the most competitive PG course. With CUET-PG Score 71, there are less chances for you to get admission to Central University of Punjab, as the lowest score for CUET-PG is 81.
However, with this score you can easily get Central University of Kerala, Central University of Rajasthan, Central University of Jharkhand, Tripura University, University of Allahabad, and University of Jammu.
