The Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (CIHMCT)2 offers two different kinds of certificate programmes.

• Craftsmanship Certificate Program in Food Production & Patisserie: 70 students can enrol in this one-year program. The minimum qualification is a 10th grade Diploma with English as a required subject. For general and OBC candidates, the age limit is 25, and for SC and ST candidates, it is 28.
• Craftsmanship Certificate Program in Food and Beverage Service: 70 students are accepted for this six-month program. The minimum qualification is a 10th grade Diploma with English as a required subject. For general and OBC candidates, the age limit is 25, and for SC and ST candidates, it is 28.

The admission process for both the courses is based on merit and availability of seats. The application forms are available offline at the institute. 

The Bachelor of Hospitality and Hotel Management course is offered by the Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management (IHM Chandigarh). There are 288 places available at the institute for this course of study.
