Chandigarh University has been started in the year 2012 under UGC. The university has lush green campus with excellent infrastructure, which can attract anyone. Coming to your main issue, You Should try for premier institutes through CAT Exam, Chandigarh University is not good for postgraduate programmers such as MBA or M.Tech, Faculty is not good at all and the fees is too high for this type of university, and they have industry oriented courses in collaboration with IBM, ICICI, etc. , please Do not go for it, It's a total waste of time studying in Chandigarh university, No practical sessions, Only read books, make presentations, assignments, internal exams, and attendance, which is the worst system here, you have to give get 75% attendance for internals exam also, Believe me leaving one or two teachers, faculty is not experienced at all, if you want to waste your time and parents hard earned money, then you are welcomed by CU.

Chandigarh University is good enough to provide its students an opportunity to get placed in respective field core companies. The highest package till now is 31.77 lacs per annum and average package here is 5 lacs per annum. Name any big MNC, found CU student placed in that company, whether it is HPE, MICROSOFT, INFOSYS, TECHM, SWARAJ, MAHINDRA AND MAHINDRA, JET AIRWAYS, WALT DISNEY USA. List is too long, I just mentioned few names only. Only university in North India holding a LIMCA BOOK OF RECORD for the maximum number of companies for campus placements. As you ask about Bsc computer science from Chandigarh University,As I am not from this branch but I can give you my review about chandigarh university. Currently I am student of second year engineering from this university. So here are the good things about university:
1. Excellent infrastructure and most important it is growing day by day.
2. Good and supportive faculty.
3. Well equipped labs.
4.Hostel facility is very good, you don't have to worry about anything except food a little.
5. Placement oriented guidance.
6. Easy reach to heigher authority of university.
7. No ragging. I never seen a single ragging case in my first year, seniors are so much supportive.
8. Students from all over the India even foreign country too.
Here are the few cons not bad but need improvement
1. Open playground for cricket and football is not in very good condition as most of the time it is equipped for some events (New ground is almost constructed so no longer any issue with that).
2.Sometime focus too much on assignments and lab file work instead of practical knowledge. Although written work is also important but it can be improved.
Apart from this no other issue with the university, CU is really good and a place where you want to spend few years of life and remember those years as best years of your life.
And university is approved by UGC , AICTE and other necessary councils.

Chandigarh University is a great place and in my view has very good management and faculty members. Despite covid and online there were so many communication gaps and issues faced by students especially freshers which were so very well handled on time. We all know what role a University as a whole plays in our careers. So we would all like to be a part of the one which not only gives us best opportunities to grow but works on overall development of the student and prepares him/her to be well prepared for grabbing the opportunity as CU offers TPP programme in which students are provided with soft skills and aptitude training sessions.
In this world almost everyone is jealous of others ' achievements. On social media there are a bad reviews about Chandigarh University but all these are fake because when an organization is growing up fast then others will start to drop them. In my opinion whenever something is growing up fastest, people will try to give a negative impact on that.

Before getting admissions I've queried in various private and government institutions but believe me Chandigarh University is the destination for your search.
1 Academically speaking, forensic science department here will prepare you for your future by practical on hand training as well as theoretically.
Faculty here are well versed with their field knowledge and provide you very better guidance. They teach students in such a way that they usually clear their NET-JRF's along with their post graduation.Ph.d programme is also offered here with the fellowship. Dessertation work, practicals, crime scene workshop here are conducted regularly for practical knowledge
2.Management here is very good. The course curriculum is revised regularly according to the present requirements and fields.Department has its own club Like Forensic Blue Book club etc which conduct various activities like Quiz, Anthropology lecture, seminar, guest lectures by the renowned and experienced personalities in the field,moot court, visits etc.
3. Co-curricular activities are also here part of the students life Cu fest, Tech fest , concerts by famous singers, sports competition etc are also organised in the university.
Moreover, University have various facilities like 3 ATM's , No. Of eateries and food joints like Domino's, Subway etc.

Totally, Thumbs up for Chandigarh University :) I am not saying because I am a part of this University and it is my duty to be positive about CU but because being a part of this university, I am the right person to guide everyone over here. Chandigarh University is a very big platform to explore your dreams, your ambitions and your achievements. It has a large number of courses which are indeed important for variety of students as No student is same and has different capabilities. I am a student of Computer Science Engineering batch 20152019. Computer Science engineering has a the largest number of students and no student is left apart from the exposure and from the attention of the faculty. For my batch, the aim of companies that will visit our campus is around 400 companies and around 250 is specifically for CSE branch. I have been placed in MICROSOFT as a technical support engineer at a package of 9 LPA. I have been placed in august in the DAY ZERO company. After Microsoft, around 50 companies that includes 5 mass recruiters have already visited in these 2 months. It is a proud opportunity to be a part of this institution as this has helped me to achieve my dream. Chandigarh University totally believes in UNITY IN DIVERSITY because there are various students who are international and we get a glimpse of every country and every religion here.
