There is no internship facility on campus and placements are also with very low packages and the average package is Rs 4 to 5 lacs per annum.
Our college placement is around 50 to 60 percent. The average package goes up to INR 7 LPA, and the highest package goes up to 22 LPA, which is offered by Goldman Sachs. The roles offered include those of system engineers and data scientists.

If you enjoy finance but are concerned about working hours, consider roles with better work-life balance, like financial analysis or consulting. Core chemical engineering might offer more structured hours. Choose course based on your passion and intrest.

Once you get admission into B.Tech Chemical engineering at RGUKT (IIIT Basara) by clearing the JEE Mains Entrace Exam it will be easy to pass the semester exams for the camdidates. The level of study according to the alumni and students pursuing Chemical Engineering shows that the syllabus is so moderate that anyone can score 7 GGPA just by studying 1 week before end semester exams.

Definitely yes, It is possible and beneficial to switch from Petroleum Engineering to Chemical Engineering, as this will give broad range of skills and more opportunities in the industry. However, the decision relating to their career depends on each one's objective an aspect of the job market.
