Candidates are advised to check the previous year's question papers and sample papers to know the important topics of Assam CEE Chemistry section. The list of important topics that the candidates are advised to give more importance are - Electrochemistry, Redox Reactions, Alcohols, Phenols and Ethers, Solid State, p-Block Elements, d and f Block Elements, States of Matter: Gases and Liquids, Aldehydes, Ketones and Carboxylic Acids, Surface Chemistry, Polymers and more. However, the candidates should study the entire syllabus to have more chances of obtained the required scores for admissions.

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has released the NEET 2024 syllabus. As compared to the previous years' syllabus, some of the topics have been removed from each of the three subjects, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. There are around nine chapters in Chemistry which have been removed.
In Chemistry, the following chapters or topics have been removed from the units given in the table below.

To be well prepared for the examination, the candidates are advised to check the best materials and books. Some of the best books that the candidates can refer to for the GCET Chemistry section are - Concise Inorganic Chemistry by JD Lee, Organic Chemistry by David Klein and Physical Chemistry by Peter Atkins.
