 Christ Bangalore is a private Deemed-to-be University, it was established in the year 1969 ans was declared a Deemed-to-be University in the year 2008 by the Ministry of HRD (Government of India). Every year, more than 25,000 students enroll in various UG and PG courses offered by Christ University (Deemed-to-be) across its five campuses located in Bangalore, Lavasa (Pune) and Delhi NCR  .The University was ranked 67 under the 'University' and 100 under the 'Overall' category by the NIRF 2023 Rankings. Right now, Christ University (Deemed-to-be) offers more than 30 UG and over 40 PG courses in various streams such as Arts, Science, Commerce and Management among others. 

Christ University offers a wide range of extracurricular activities in addition to academics and accomodation. Occasionally, they hold events, workshops, games, and sports.

In partnership with international universities,  Christ Deemed-to-be University provides a few MBA integrated courses in addition to a postgraduate MBA curriculum. Christ University's MBA programme requires a valid score on the CAT,  XAT,  CMAT, ATMA,  Micro Presentation,  GD,  and PI in addition to prior academic accomplishment in Class 12 and a UG degree. The course is a 2 year program, spead over 6 semesters. The specializations offered in the MBA programme at CU are Finance, Human Resources, Lean Operations and Systems, Marketing, Business Analytics, and Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

A total of 1,698 UG students and 1,304 PG students were placed, respectively. Christ University Bangalore 2022 placement drive placed about 79% of students. Furthermore, of the 516 recruiters who came to campus for the 2022 placement drive, 65 were first-time recruiters. Candidates must get a valid admission exam score in order to be considered for admission to Christ University's MBA program. Christ University had a 70 percentile total CAT cutoff for 2023.
