MBA is all about management and the respective skills. If you think yourself capable enough to manage business and do better in that field, then go for MBA. Otherwise, Master's degree in designing is no less.

Learning something is never a waste of time. However, if you feel you can do better in your field of study, i.e civil engineering, you should definitely pursue that. You can always do a part-time course to learn the art of cooking. If you strongly feel that you want to learn cooking full time, you should pursue a course in Bachelors in Catering Technology and Culinary Arts from Culinary Academy of India. It will broaden your scope for employment.

Term 'high paid' is very subjective, some person might be happy with an annual package of 4 Lacs and some might not be happy even with 15 Lacs package.
* To ensure your salary rise, you must focus on sound practical knowledge, if you have not started working, join a good company or even work as an intern if required and gain good practical knowledge and then move further.

Hello Hitesh,
After completing civil engineering, I suggest you prepare and clear civil services exam. Once you clear it, you would be doing 'babugiri' throughout your life.
