Department of Civil Engineering at The NorthCap University was established in 2007. Department has been providing quality education and is among the most dynamic department in the University. Department is flourishing under the able guidance of Vice-Chancellor Prof. H. B. Raghavendra who is Civil Engineer and Ph.D. from IISC Bangalore. Department offers excellent programs like B.Tech in Civil Engineering with options of specialisation in Smart Infrastructure development and Construction and Project Management and M.Tech with specialisation in Structural Engineering, Construction Management, and Environmental Engineering. Department offers a Ph.D. programme in Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, Waste Management. The highest salary package offered was Rs. 70,000 per month and the lowest was Rs. 25,000 per month. The average salary package offered was Rs. 40,000 per month. Institutions like Kendriya Vidyalaya, PMC School, private English schools, and some convent schools, etc. , visit the campus for placements. Students are offered roles like an assistant professor, vice principal, and principal. Almost all the students were offered internships. Facilities like Wi-Fi, digital classrooms, library, health centre, sports ground, and sports equipment, etc. , are available here. Quality of classrooms and the seating arrangements are good. Even the quality of the food is excellent. Hostel rooms are excellent, and the college also provides 24X7 water facilities. All the hostel rooms are also enabled with Wi-Fi facilities. The entire campus is under CCTV surveillance. Our teachers and all the staff members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is the best. Thank you.
