For BBA admission, you need to have passed 10+2 from a recognized university. I am not really sure if the university will consider you for admission in BBA based on you Diploma.

Talking about cut off, it is a pity high and depends on college, university prestige and ranking. In case of lateral entry, the seats are very low and candidates are many. So, they have to score good rank to achieve it.

Hi Daniel, Most universities accept B.Tech as entrance criteria for M.Tech. I don't think Diplomas are considered eligible for M.Tech.
