There are many branches of civil engineering. Structural engineering, Structural dynamic engineering, earthquake engineering, Geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering and many more. It is important that you are interested in that branch and you get a good colleges to do your M.Tech.

I think your rank is mentioned on your score card, watch it carefully. You should apply for all government colleges along with top private colleges under upsee to get civil engineering.
