There are many options after 12th in science expect teaching profession like MBBS, B.Sc nursing, Diploma courses, etc.

Please detail the PG subject as there are lot of opportunities in every stream but gets more specific to stream as you pursue higher education in that field.

If you are a PCM student and if you're interested in IIT then you go for the preparation of JEE Mains + Advanced. Studying at IIT is better than other courses including PCM.

After 12th science, there are plenty of courses which you can do. Just download brochure cum prospectus cum application form of IGNOU and you will be amazed to know the variety of courses available after 12th. Just select the subject in which you have passion and get started.

Once CBSE has declared your result as pass with whatever subjects that you have taken, you can not give exam for an additional subject nor can you appear for 12th again with different sets of subjects.
