It's very nice to know your dream of doing diploma in ME from a private college. But if I may ask, why private? There are very good govt colleges too. Anyway. Unfortunately, you have not mentioned your state. But these days almost all states have online process for admission and you have to follow it. Only if your score is good, you will get college of your desire.

Right now, you have only one option. You have to qualify for 12th class. It is the minimum qualification.

Yes, you can take admission but the problem is that the result of NIOS will come very late. Till that time, admission in all the good colleges will be over.

You are eligible to take admission in graduation degree in Humanities after 10+2 in Science subjects. j

Degree always holds more importance than Diploma no matter from where you do it.
