Yeah, you can pursue Bachelors of Arts BA after 12th. There are no restrictions. Admission will be based on your 12th performance.the subject is too be decided on the basis of your interest.

There are a lot of creative fields these days if you do not wish to get into mainstream courses. You can take admission in mass communication, animation, advertising, law, fine arts and much more depending on your interests.

You can go for Bachelor's in Science based on your interests if Engineering doesn't delights you. There are many science degree courses available which are as good as Professional Engineering courses and well recognized by IT industries.

I don't think so that will be a problem. Mass communication is a new and a different subject. One starts learning from the day 1 whether you are from a science background, commerce or humanities background it doesn't matter.
