Congratulations on being a class 12th board topper. You must participate in the AIL LET counselling process to secure admission, as direct, merit-based admission for board toppers is not the standard procedure for Army personnel seats. AIL LET scores are used to create a merit list for counseling.

To join a Marine Engineering course after Class 12th, candidates need PCM with good scores of around 60% aggregate in PCM, plus 50% in English.

Candidates must appear for the IMU-CET entrance exam, clear medical tests, and apply to affiliated colleges, often with sponsorship opportunities from shipping companies after selection.

No, you cannot get admission at BITS Pilani with 60% marks. As per the eligibility criteria students must qualify Class 12 with 75% marks from the recognised board. It is mandatory for students to qualify the eligiblity criteria. The institute also accepts admission based on the entrance exams.

Yes, you can take admission in BTech under NEP 2020 if there is a five year gap between your class 12th and date of admission. This applicable for undergraduate courses in the university.
