Hello Ryan Smith,
Failing in physics or any subject in the HSC Board and getting a good score in MHT CET actually are not related issues. However a student is declared to have cleared MHT CET only and only if he has cleared his HSC board examination. So I am sure you are asking the question perhaps with the assumption that a person has failed and then subsequently cleared HSC and then went on to score good marks in MHT CET. Yes, he will be definitely be eligible to get admission in PICT or COEP, after fulfilling all the related criteria if any. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about MHT CET 2019. htt

Hello Varad,
College of Engineering Pune is the premier most institute of engineering studies in whole of Maharashtra and definitely in the city of Pune. This is a government institute and admissions are based on the centralised admission process of the Maharashtra government conducted by Directorate of Technical Education. Ranking obtained in centralised examination called MHT CET that is conducted for admissions to various engineering colleges in the state of Maharashtra is the basis for admissions to all the branches including metallurgical not only in COPE, Pune but all the colleges in Maharashtra.
Best wishes to you.

Most engineering colleges in Maharashtra charge around Rs. 80,000 - 1 lakh per year. Top institutes charge between the range of Rs 1.5 - 2.8 lakhs per year.
The course fee for B.Tech in Maharashtra is comparatively higher than any other undergraduate course due to its technical nature and reputation.
All the best.

As COEP has only 12 seats of mechanical engineering so admission chances in COEP are less. You will atleast need aggregate of 96% in your Diploma for general category.

Hello Kaustubh, the number of seats available for lateral admissions is not known in advance. These are normally dependent on the number of students who pass or fail after taking admission in the first year of four year degree course and also on the supernumerary seats sanctioned by AICTE. As far as the Government of Maharashtra is concerned there is a well laid out web page which will give you all the required information about this issue. I am attaching this link here for your ready reference.

Hello Ruhi,
COEP accepts a score of MHT-CET for admission. However, one can use JEE Mains score for admission against all India quota. But seats against this will be announced by the Government of Maharashtra later. In Maharashtra, all the government and government-aided colleges give admission based on MHT-CET only.
