However, as per external sources, the highest package offered was INR 6.50 LPA during the recent placement drive. These stats may vary further once the official placement report is released by the university. Candidates who wish to get admission to Allahabad University MBA course must apply online via the official site of the university via AU PGAT. A step-by-process to fill AU PGAT form for MBA admission is as follows:
1: Visit the Allahabad University site.
2: Click on Admission tab running in the ticker line on the home page of the official website or click on 'Student' in the menu.
3: Now click on 'Admission' followed by clicking on 'PGAT Application 2022'.

Allahabad University accepts AU-PGAT exam scores for admission to MBA. The exam is conducted by Allahabad University. Candidates for admission to this course have to undergo an additional test conducted by the concerned department. Final merit is computed on the basis of a total of marks scored in PGAT and scores obtained by the students in the department-level additional test. Those who qualify and score well in the exam, such students are required to go through the counselling process conducted again by the university for final seat allotment.

Yes, Allahabad University offers a two-year MBA in Rural Development and Business Management specialisations. Candidates willing to pursue MBA at Allahabad University must fulfil the following requirements:
- The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Candidates should take the Allahabad University PG Admission Test (PGAT).
- Candidates based on their scores in AU PGAT will be shortlisted for the counselling process followed by document verification and fee payment for final seat allotment.

IIIT Allahabad is a tier 1 institute and IIIT Lucknow is a tier 3 institute. The academic session of IIIT Lucknow was started in 2015 by the mentor Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad campus. IIIT Allahabad is an autonomous institute whereas public-private institutions run IIIT Lucknow. In case of placements, both colleges have recorded 100% placement. Moreover, the average package offered by IIIT Lucknow was INR 26 LPA whereas IIIT Allahabad average package stood at INR 30.68 LPA.
