No, direct admission is not available for the MTech course at IIIT Allahabad. The institute admits students based on a valid GATE entrance exam score, followed by the CCMT counselling process. 

Candidates taking admission to an MTech programme shall have a valid BE/BTech degree in a relevant discipline with at least 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ST) from a recognised university.
