First of all you have to clear JEE Mains with a good rank under 10k if you want to get into MNNIT with general category but here is no guarantee of getting your favorite branch. For this, you have to work hard.
Once your rank is out, wait for counseling and then fill the colleges in the priority you want to go to.
But at this time, I would suggest you to work hard and try to score as much marks as you can. "Do not shrink yourself to not only try, may be you will get a good IIT also.
Best of luck.

A student graduating from there needs to be on his own for placements purposes, and thus he has to choose his own path.
As a trend, most of the graduates there prefer preparing for judiciary or UPSC or PCS exams.
Also, many prefer practicing under senior lawyers.
No law firm or corporate house takes graduates from the university after graduation, thus a scope in that sense is less and student has to be on his own.
Also, a graduate may apply for job on his own in any firm, but preferences will be given less t

No, admissions in School of Management Studies, MNNIT are done only through CAT (conducted by IIMs) followed by GD and Personal Interview.
