You won't get CSE in GVPEC. But, in the 2nd or 3rd counselling you may get some low preference groups. All the best.

Requirement of rank depends upon your choice of stream you want to pursue. Streams like Mech. , ECE, Civil one needs to score good enough or one needs to score 1000 to 1500 rank in general category. And, there are other smaller streams such as metallurgy, Marine, Civil environmental. So, to get seat in smaller streams one needs not to score like 1000 or 1500 rank, but 4000 to 5000 ranks are enough.

Yes, there are two exams conducted for the admission in Andhra University. The first exam is Andhra University Common Entrance Test AUCET is conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. This exam is conducted to provide admission to candidates in postgraduate courses offered under the streams of Science, Commerce, Humanities, Management, Teaching, and Mass Communication. On the basis of their scores in AUCET exam candidates are offered admission in Andhra University and its affiliated colleges as well.
