Tezpur University is making all required efforts. But, location is hindrance. Sometimes students have to go to Guwahati for interview. As the word spreads around if good material available, more recruiters will start coming.

Dear Prasenjit Deb,
NIT-Agartala is the best option when compare with Silchar. NIT-Agartala received (last year) 36 LPA, whereas Silchar received 9.5 LPA, you can prepare for NIT-Agartala.

NIT-Agartala is a good option and has been a good brand with very good industry oriented faculty and curriculum. NIT-Silchar is bit new and nascent and hence, does not have an edge.
