IMI Bhubaneswar considers many factors for admission including CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT scores, academic record and other criteria. Shortlisted candidates undergo further evaluation through essay writing, personal interview, and potentially IMI Bhubaneswar Research Aptitude Test. CMAT scores are considered, they are part of holistic assessment process alongside other qualifications.  

IMI Bhubaneswar offers two types of scholarships to meritorious and deserving students under PGDM Programme, at IMI Bhubaneswar. There are Pre-admission Scholarship, Merit scholarship, Merit scholarship for women candidates and Defense personnel scholarship which one can avail. There are also Post-admission Scholarships to reward excellence in academic pursuits as well as a scholarship to support students with summer internships.
