My honest review, best college in India.

Placements: n the B.Tech. In the Electrical Engineering course, more than 70 percent of students get placed. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Lenovo, Motel etc visit the college to recruit students. The highest package is 63 LPA and the average package is 17 LPA. Roles offered are Control System Engineer, Power System Engineer, etc. Internship is offered to nearly 100 students from the whole batch but the percentage of students who got internships is less.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available in the college and the hostel. The infrastructure is good. A night canteen is available. Sanjeevani Hospital is available. There are different courts for sports like basketball, badminton, etc. Gym facilities are also available. Food items are not so spicy but a variety of items are present. Wi-Fi facility is available 24 hours on the premises.

Faculty: All teachers have a doctorate degree. They are highly professional. Exams are difficult but can be cracked using systematic planning. The pass percentage here is more than ninety. Different labs are there to make students industry ready. They conduct different industrial visits and guest talks from industry professionals.

Review of IIT Bhubaneswar - Indian Institute of Technology.

Placements: It's pretty impressive that about 80% of students from our course land jobs. Seriously, the top salary package is a whopping 64 LPA, while the average sits around 17 LPA. We've got big names like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon. Now, when it comes to internships, it is higher than job placements. In fact, only about 100 students across the entire campus manage to snag internships each year. If you're looking at roles, we see quite a few opportunities in areas like power systems, electronic engineering, and control systems.

Infrastructure: The college has pretty solid infrastructure and decent amenities. You know, the on-campus housing is actually quite comfy and well-managed. A lot of students choose to live there. As for the food service, it's okay. It meets the basic standards, nothing fancy.

Faculty: Honestly, teachers are fantastic. Every single member really knows their stuff when it comes to their field. They are super accessible and are always ready to lend a hand to students. The way they teach works well, giving students a solid grasp of the material. The curriculum is modern, and the test questions strike a nice balance, not too easy, not too hard.

More than 500 students are present in every batch. NSO and NSS are there for extracurricular activities.

Review on IIT Bhubaneswar - Indian Institute of Technology.

Placements: 82% of students in electrical were placed with an average package of 19.5 LPA in the year 2024. The highest package was 64 LPA by Oracle and the lowest was 10 LPA. These states include both core and noncore placement opportunities. Google, Oracle, DE Shaw, and Flipkart were the companies that visited the campus.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great. All classrooms and labs are well-furnished. Air-conditioned classrooms, modern lab equipment, and good student leisure amenities including basketball courts, gyms, etc. Hostels are also good. All rooms are spacious single occupancy rooms.

Faculty: Our faculty members are very well-qualified with years of research and teaching experience. They are also very approachable for help as well as research work. The course work is a little on the difficult side but that is expected. Exams are tough but the grading is relative to your peers.

Good college in terms of facilities but needs to improve placements.

Placements: I am currently pursuing B.Tech in electrical engineering at IIT Bhubaneswar. Last year, approximately 78% of students got placed in EE. The salary package offered ranges between 6 LPA to 67 LPA. The average salary package offered is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tata Steel, JLR, Accenture, and many more. Approximately 40% of students got internships from our course in companies like Accenture, JSPL, etc. Top roles offered are SDE, GET, MT, etc.

Infrastructure: Our college is in the developing phase. Many things are going on simultaneously and rapidly. We have 3 lecture hall complexes out of which 2 are functional now. We have schools for each department and labs in the schools. Our library has over 25,600 books. We have access to 60 million E-books through NDLI. Each student has his room. Wi-Fi and LAN are available 24/7. They provide good quality food in the mess. It provides food 4 times a day. We have Sanjeevan Health Centre. Specialized doctors visit our campus on a routine basis. The college provides us with good sports facilities.

Faculty: Teachers here are sincere, helpful, and well-qualified. They teach very well. The course curriculum is relevant. I feel the curriculum should be modified to make students industry-ready. They should start teaching the core subjects from the first semester, so we can have more time to go into the depth of our course.

Other: I chose the course because it was the best I could get at that time. I had some interest in electrodynamics. I feel instead of teaching humanity subjects, they should teach us more subjects of core electrical engineering. As I have previously mentioned our college is in the developing phase, everything is growing nowadays. There are many events and fests. There is a campus crowd, shops, etc. There are provisions for fee remission. Our college provides scholarships.

Placements: The top salary package offered by Oracle is 64 LPA. About 96% of students got placed. The rest are either opting for higher studies or preparing for government exams. The average salary package offered is around 15 LPA. Some recruiting companies are Google, Flipkart, Nvidia, Amazon, Intel, DE Shaw, Oracle, etc.

Infrastructure: Buildings are new with world-class facilities. Hostels have all the basic amenities. The quality of facilities in the hostel is good. The quality of the food available in the mess is fine. The caterer changes facilities every two years.

Faculty: Our teachers are experienced in their fields and make learning simple and fun. The course is well-structured. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are completely based on the curriculum. The pass percentage is about 35%.

Brief review of IIT BHUBANESWAR.

Placements: In our college, the percentage of students getting placed is nearly 80 to 85. Whereas in my course, the placement percentage is nearly 85 to 95. In my course, the highest package is of 60 LPA and the lowest is 15 LPA, whereas the average stands at nearly 24-25 LPA. There will be many companies giving placements and internships to our college students. Nearly 60 percent of people will get internships from my course.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available everywhere on the campus. There are many classrooms that are well-designed, resembling theaters. There is a central library accessible to everyone in the institute. We have separate hostels for each academic year, with one person allocated per room. The food available in the mess and canteen is good. We have a well-equipped hospital that is open 24/7. Although we have numerous sports facilities, some grounds and equipment are not well-maintained.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful throughout our educational journey. Every teacher in every department is well-qualified, which is sufficient for teaching college students. The course curriculum is a bit outdated, following an old industry model, but with small adjustments, it could be perfectly up-to-date. The semester exams are neither too difficult nor too easy; you need to study really hard to excel. The pass percentage is almost 100%.

Other: I chose this course due to my interest in this industry. The best thing is its impact on our daily lives. Regarding my course, we can improve the curriculum and class timetables slightly. There will be four fests, two per semester, each year.

I am satisfied with the culture, opportunities, and good friends circle with various thoughts.

Placements: In our college, almost 98% of students got placed. Many students choose their careers on the software side. The highest salary package offered is 40 LPA to 60 LPA in the software field. The salary package offered is 20 LPA to 30 LPA by field. The salary package offered is 11 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Ceramics, Tata, etc., visit our campus. Internships are available. Top roles offered are designer roles like device making, simulation, fabrication, and VLSI.

Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure. Our classrooms are modern. The internet usage limit is 15 GB per day. The auditorium is under construction. A playground is available.

Faculty: Our teachers are good. The course is excellent. Semester exams generally follow a grading system, so there is no need to worry. I still observe students failing in some subjects. Very few of them know the basic concepts of the topics taught in 11th and 12th classes.

Other: It is good to be in college. I enjoy a lot of programs, fests, and social events. At least two events are held every week in the community center.

Should I take EE in IIT BBSR or ECE at NIT, Allahabad?

I think NIT- Allahabad is better with ECE. There, you will get a good atmosphere of coding and ECE is one of the top branch of NIT-Allahabad. NIT-Allahabad is better in all manners.

nit surathkal and iit bhubaneshwar are similar in comparison but from quora and other i haven't got the same impression so what you suggest?

NIT-K (Surathkal) is better in terms of placements than IIT Bhubaneswar. Recently IIT Bhubaneswar might get some good placements but NIT-K is much older and have more connections.
