Those who cannot get into IITs will always speak of joining NIT or BITS, JEE Advanced requires high skill and intelligence to pass unlike JEE Mains or BITSAT where the questions are easy and pattern is repeated but time is less. So if you are getting IIT always take it. I know one friend who got 217 marks in JEE Mains but could not even pass JEE Advanced 2018. He will definitely get NIT Trichy, but not IIT Bhubaneswar. What happens after four years is actually anybody's guess. There will be wide array of opinions. However what matters is how much hard work you have put in while studying. Remember, there is always room at the top. My opinion is that plenty of opportunities will crop up four years from today.

NIT-K (Surathkal) is better in terms of placements than IIT Bhubaneswar. Recently IIT Bhubaneswar might get some good placements but NIT-K is much older and have more connections.

Aerospace will provide you with more opportunities abroad but ECE will give you loads of opportunities in India itself. Though the thing to consider here is that, IIT Kharagpur is an old IIT & much more established than any of the new IITs which will very much be visible during placements and in other avenues.
