IRCC has announced that international students are studying in Canada and have off-campus work eligibility are not restricted by 20-hour-per-week rule. Earlier, there was cap on the number of working hours. This rule is now not restricted to just 20 hours. The co-op permit will list the employer as Cambrian College and will allow students to work for any authorized co-op work term authorized by the study program. The co-op education integrates on-the-job work experience with on-campus study. General, cop-ops are for 4 months. A few programs have mandatory co-ops whereas, some have optional.
