Yes, there many students from other countries studying at Cypress College. Cypress College accepts admissions from international students and currently has over 1,748 international students enrolled from more than 25 countries. This diversity in terms of their global viewpoint and cultural experience is an attracting point for all the international students. The scholarships provided for the international students is also a motivating factor to attract students.

Cypress College performed well in 13 research areas and was placed 1155th in the US and 4325th worldwide in the 2023 assessment. The college is known for being among the best community colleges in the country, its allied health programs, and its role as a Hispanic-serving institution are very popular.

The cost of living at Cypress College varies according on a number of factors, including personal spending, housing, food, and transportation. The bifurcation includes:-

1. For undergraduate students, the annual in-state tuition is about $1,104. Cypress College charges out-of-state students about $9,090 in tuition annually.

2. $800 and $1,200 for the accomodation, meals and other expenses.
3. Students must also have money for health, personal expenses, books, supplies, transportation, and meals.

To apply for UW Study Abroad scholarships you must have a FAFSA or WASFA on file with the UW Office of Financial Aid to demonstrate financial need. Washington state residents with the greatest financial need apply for undergraduate courses at UW are given priority. You may only receive one UW Study Abroad scholarship during your time at the UW. Standard awards based on length of program:

  • Up to USD 2,500/INR 2.07 L for programs lasting 1 quarter or less.

Yes, getting part-time jobs is easy while studying at Cypress College. The college has online internship and employment management system called as the Cypress College Career Connect, which allows students to browse the most recent job and internship opportunities. Also, the Career Education Programme helps the students with the skills necessary to secure and maintain employment. The Canada government allows the students to do the part time jobs during the academic session for 24 hours and full time during the winter breaks. They get an annual pay of $13 to $24 per hour.

According to LaSalle College Vancouver official data, international students who have taken the below programs are eligible for postgraduate work permits:

  • Associate of Arts
  • Bachelor of Design in Graphic Design
  • Bachelor of Applied Design in Interior Design
  • Bachelor of Science in Game Programming
  • Bachelor of Design in Fashion Design

Students who have taken any other programme are not eligible for PGWP.
