Hi Ashutosh,
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) will be conducting Common Entrance Test (IPU CET) on May 8, 2016 for admissions to various UG programmes offered by the university. However, the exam date for B.Tech (Biotechnology) is different. IPU CET 2016 for B.Tech (Biotechnology) will be conducted on May 21, 2016.

The cut-offs vary year after year. Hence, i would request you to attempt the paper to the best of your capabilities. The mantra to success is dedication, commitment and determination. I would say that a comprehensive plan in studies will help you reach your target. The time table for the study plan should be in tune with your daily needs and schedule.
As far as the preparation is concerned, I would suggest you to spend quality time everyday at reading journals, magazines, newspapers, etc. and for GK, you can refer Competition Success Review for updates on current affairs. You may also refer the following books:
