In order to secure an admission, all the international students must fulfill the TUM Germany eligibility criteria listed below:

Bachelor's degree: Candidates must have completed their secondary school education outside of Germany with something other than a German Abitur

Master's degree: An undergraduate degree which is at least equal to a German bachelor's degree with a duration of 3 years

Given below are the general TU Munich entry requirements for international applicants:

• Higher education entrance qualification;
• Proof of English language proficiency;
• Proof of German language proficiency;
• Passport;
• CV/Resume;
• Letter of Motivation, Essay (wherever required);
• Proof of internships, volunteer work, etc. (wherever required);
• Proof of military service, voluntary civilian service, voluntary ecological year, etc. (wherever required); and
• Bachelor's certificate and bachelor's Diploma (for master's programs).

As per the ratio of admissions to applications, the Technical University of Munich acceptance rate stands at merely 8%. Since, the stats are on very low end, we can conclude that it is a competitive university to get in, as it admits less than half of the applicants.
