To get admission to the University of Bonn, a few admission requirements have to be met. For bachelor’s courses, the applicants should have obtained a secondary school qualification. Whereas, for admission to postgraduate courses, the applicants are required to have an undergraduate degree. The documents that an Indian student must have in order to apply to this university are:

There are two scholarships that are offered by the University of Bonn. These scholarships are offered to basically outstanding students. A few details of these scholarships are given below:

• Deutschlandstipendium: Gifted and responsible students are offered this scholarship by Bonn University and funding is for one academic year. Each scholarship recipient is given EUR 300 per month
• Ließem Scholarship: This scholarship is offered to talented students who have lived in the Bonn / Rhein-Sieg for at least 5 years. Each scholarship recipient is given EUR 300 a month. Also note that the recipients of this scholarship should not be older than 27 when their funding starts.

To study RWTH Aachen University courses, international students must meet the admission requirements as per their course. Applicants must have a high school degree for UG and a bachelor's degree for PG admission. Students first need the authorization to attend university, this is also known as a university entrance qualification certificate or HZB (in German) for short. RWTH Aachen UG requirements:

• Complete a higher secondary school 
• The overall average grade of your HZB must be at least equivalent to the German grade 2.5.
• RWTH currently only offers Bachelor's courses of study in German. Therefore, you must provide proof of German language skills at C1.

RWTH Aachen PG requirements:

• An initial qualifying university degree
• RWTH currently only offers Master's courses of study in German. Therefore, you must provide proof of German language skills at C1.
