No, the Technical Universty of Munich does not accept tuition fees in installments. Indian students would have to pay the tuition fees in full. It can be paid via bank transfer, using the TUMonline account. The Semester fees, however, can be paid in cash at the Bursar's Office on specific days.

For some continuing education courses, the university charges some extra fees.

TUM often ranks in the top 30 worldwide as its current QS World University Ranking is #22 for 2026. Meanwhile, the THE Interdisciplinary Science Ranking of the university stood at 13 worldwide. TUM ranked in the top 25 five times as per Shanghai Subject Rankings as well

More than 54,000 students are there at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. There are 4 different sites of LMU Munich, that are spread across the city center and Munich's outskirts. The main campus of LMU Munich is in the City Center. Here, most of the Social Sciences and Humanities buildings, central services like LMU Gateway, the Main library, and the International Office are there.

At the start of the winter semester at LMU Munich 2025/26, the total number of students enrolled at this university was 53,000+. Over 60% were female students. As per a news report, LMU Munich is becoming very famous with international students. The total percentage of international students has increased from 21% - 22%. At present, 6,300+ international students have been enrolled.

Munich Student Union offers limited housing options to international students. Students can live in the halls of residence. Also, students can opt for private housing. Rooms in single and shared apartments can cost between Euros 450 - 900. Whereas, in student housing can cost around Euros 300 - 450. Also, students should expect to have a spending of EUR 1,500 per month

FU Berlin acceptance rate is around 15%. This acceptance rate suggests that this university is very selective at the time of admission. Indian students who want to take admission to this university should have a good academic background. For admission to UG courses, students are required to have a high school certificate and for PG courses must have a Bachelor's degree

There is no tuition fee at FU Berlin. But, the fee may be applicable to some Continuing Education programs. For these programs, the fees can be around INR 10 lakh. Also, students have to pay the living expenses. Students can expect to spend a minimum of EUR 934. The monthly housing rent can be between EUR 650 - EUR 1000
