A VPD or Preliminary Review Document is a verification of a students' high-school or UG degree . This document confirms a student's credentials to be up to the mark and in line with the academic requirements in Germany.
It is not mandatory for all universities in Germany. Students have to submit the same only if asked by the university. It can be obtained via the Uni-assist portal.
