Students can commute to RWTH Aachen via the nearest train station of Aachen West Station. Also both of RWTH's central campuses are within walking distance but thereare bus lines to get around to. The estimated time of arrival is six to ten minutes. Students can opt for cycling or car pooling. Parking services are also available for personal vehicles.

At Campus Melaten, 11 research clusters are in progress of being built on an area od 473,00sqm. plus there are restaurants, shopping facilities and services available. There is also a bilingual daycare center in the park on Campus Boulvervard, Plus there are 285 temporary student housing units on Campus Park.

RWTH students should look for housing 2-3 months before date of admission at the RWTH Aachen uni. And make sure to prepare a copy of official identification like a passport or ID card, moreover they should keep in mind that the closer the housing is to the campus the more costly it is but more factors will also play a vital role
