  • The Gerontology, Health, and Care program in both under graduation and postgraduation is delivered only in German language. The university does not teach this particular programme in English language.  

  • Hence, international students who wish to study Gerontology, Health, and Care programme at this university are required to learn certain level of German language to be eligible.  

  • The students must clear minimum DSH-2 level for admission to this university because during the enrollment students will be required to submit a certificate of the German language skills without which the application form will not be accepted

Both the Nursing program and the Gerontology, Health, and Care program are different at Heidelberg University. The Gerontology, Health, and Care program comprises interdisciplinary professional and methodological qualification of a student while Nursing course at this university focuses on more clinical and professional qualification of a student.
