The last date to apply at Heidelberg University for international students and domestic students including EU students will vary. Both institutes are the oldest and among the best universities in Germany. Getting into any one of them is a matter of pride. The QS World University Rankings 2024 ranked Heidelberg University and LMU Munich #87 and #54 respectively. Both universities are the oldest in Germany.

Heidelberg University is considered among the best public institutions in Germany. It is the oldest Uni in Germany and consistently ranks highly. The institute's QS Ranking for 2024 is #87 in the world. THE as part of its World University Rankings for the year 2023 ranked the University #43 in the world. Meanwhile, the U.S. News and World Report 2023 ranked Heidelberg University #57 among global universities.

The University of Hamburg does not charge any application fee from international students while applying online for admissions. SAT is not required for Indian students to take admissions to the University. The university instead requires students to satisfy the requirements given below:

  • Qualify for exams such as IELTS/TOEFL
  • Prove proficiency in German
