Yes, IPEC is good for Civil engineering. It gives you many more opportunities after your B.Tech, you may get placed from there in good company. Moreover, you learn few more things over there but if you are looking for much more things in your college, then you may go for other colleges like ABSIT, ITS, etc. If we talk about academics and architecture and facility, IPEC is good college but not best in other preferences.

Hi Pratiksha,
As it is regarded as one of the best college for computer science engineering in NCR (followed by AKGEC and then ABESEC). The college gets one of the best placements in NCR (Ghaziabad region). But I say it's pretty average because:-
* Average faculties.
* Below average curriculum (the curriculum is decided by AKTU).
* Above average peers.
* Below average alumini network.
* Decent enough labs.
* Placement average: 3 LPA, which again is pretty average.
But, it's still better than every other college under AKTU. Much better than Galgotia Engineering College, AKGEC, ABES, and some other famous ones in the NCR. Furthermore, there

First, get some clarity about what you kind of a job you want after 2 years. Finance jobs might be more difficult (and as a course, finance is not something you can breeze through) but they pay very well! Marketing or Product jobs are extremely interesting & creative though they pay slightly less on an average. It's best to research as much as possible on these 2 fields before making a decision. As far as the institutes are concerned in terms of placements & faculty, there is little difference. Though IMT has a better campus life & a better exchange program.

I would advise you to look for comfort and ease of traveling/accommodation in this case as it depends on your capacity to achieve better placements. If you don't want to decide on this basis, I would advise ABES EC (although it has a strict attendance rule). Do upvote if you like the answer.
