If a student chooses to withdraw from any of the Goa University programme in which s/he is enrolled, the following five-tier system shall be followed for the refund of fees remitted by her/him. Find below the refund policy:

Goa University offers various UG, PG and doctoral-level courses at campur or through affiliated colleges. The university offers UG courses such as BA, BBA, BSc, etc., while all the PG courses such as MBA, MSc, MCom, MCA, etc., are taught through various schools and departments at the university and affiliated colleges. Candidates need to complete a minimum of Class 12 for UG courses and graduation for PG programmes. Further, Goa University also has nine recognised institutes that offer research programmes leading to PhD degrees.

Candidates need to apply online on the official website of Goa University for UG and PG programmes. The university shortlists candidates for PG programmes based on GU-ART conducted by the university. For MBA admission, the university accepts CMAT/ ATMA scores. For UG courses, the selection is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. This Scheme provides free access to every SC/ ST student, to the institutions of higher learning pursuing the courses of General Education and by Directorate of Technical Education for students pursuing Technical education at the degree and post graduate level. Reservation of seats for admission to the various programmes of study shall be based on the Reservation Policy of the Goa State Government. Candidates applying for admission under the Reserved Categories shall be required to submit a valid Certificate to that effect issued by the Officer of the rank of the Deputy Collector or any other authorized Officer as notified by the Government of Goa.
