IIT Guwahati has a seat intake of 33 for MDes, including 13 seats for the General category. The institute reserves 3 seats for the EWS General category and 9 seats for OBC-NCL. Admission to the MSc course is based on merit in IIT JAM followed by CCMN counselling.
