Some of the leading MoUs include the National University of Laos (LPDR), the University of Naples (Italy) and Burdwan University, among others. Established in 1948, the university currently functions with 340+ affiliated colleges along with 35+ PG Departments. One of the oldest Universities in North-East India, Gauhati University (GU) was established in the year 1948. Guwahati University has been ranked 36 by the NIRF in 2022. Talking about the placements, according to the NIRF report 2023, a total of 569 out of 2,386 UG and PG students were placed during Guwahati University placements 2022. The median package offered to UG (3-year) and PG (1-year) students was INR 3.50 LPA and INR 4.80 LPA during placements 2022. Hence, it is safe to conclude that Guwahati University is a good university.

The highest package offered during IIIT Vadodara placements 2023 was INR 41 LPA whereas the highest package offered at IIIT Guwahati was INR 64 LPA. Moreover, the average package offered at IIIT Vadodara stood at INR 15.73 LPA whereas the average package offered at IIIT Guwahati was INR 15.34 LPA. When compared according to the fees, the IIIT Vadodara B.Tech fees is around INR 8 Lacs whereas the IIIT Guwahati B.Tech fees is INR 10 LPA.

The highest package offered during NIT Silchar placements 2022 was INR 44 LPA whereas the highest package offered by IIIT Guwahati was INR 61.50 LPA. Similarly, the average package offered NIT Silchar placements 2022 was 13 LPA whereas at IIIT Guwahati, average package stood at INR 15.34 LPA. Moreover, when compared for B.Tech fees, the fees for NIT Silchar is INR 5 Lacs whereas IIIT Guwahati B.Tech fees is INR 10 Lacs.
