The admission procedure of IIIT Una takes place every year after the JEE Mains and JEE Advanced exam has completed as the seat allocation process is done by JoSAA counselling and CSAB counselling post the JEE Advanced exam is completed.

For seeking admission in IIIT Una B.Tech, appear for JEE Mains conducted by NTA every year and secure a good rank in the exam. After the exam, there exists 2 types of counselling, JoSAA and CSAB. Hence, the eligibility includes;

1) aggregate score of 75% in BOARDS

2) Candidate must have appeared for JEE Mains exam and must have cleared the cutoff

3) The rank scored in the JEE Mains exam must be within the cutoff rank of the college.

4) If a candidate satisfies the above mentioned criteria then he/she is eligible to take admission in IIIT Una.

Yes, IIIT Una provides a hostel facility. Hostel accommodation is compulsory for the students of IIIT Una. There are 3 hostels, 2 for boys and 1 for girls. The rooms are allotted on the basis of roll numbers of students and on sharing basis in which 3 students share a single room. Each room has 3 cots, 3 almirahs, 3 tables, and 3 chairs for each individual. Hostel amenities include CCTV surveillance, water coolers, access to Hindi and English newspaper, and sports equipment.

Entrance exam
Counseling session
Personal Interview
However, certain MBA courses may offer direct admission to candidates based on work experience or academic record.

Chitkara University does follow the CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) system wherein the grade points of each subject in the semester is added up and then divided by the total number of subjects. The obtained figure is the CGPA. Example: if the grade points of each subject are 9,8,8,9 and 6 then the total of this is 40. 40 would be divided by 5 to give the CGPA.
