NTA will release CUET application form 2024 tentatively in second week of February 2024. CUET registrations 2024 are expected to end in last week of March 2024. The application process will be completely online. The application fee for CUET 2024 will vary on the following criteria- candidate's category, number of subjects opted, and exam city. Candidates will be able to pay the application fee through Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI.
NTA releases a list of CUET UG Help Centres wherein candidates can visit to seek assistance in filling and submitting the application form. Each center will have a dedicated in charge of helping applicants. There is no additional cost involved in getting help from the CUET UG Help Centres. It is expected that the total number of applications will surpass that of last year.
The previous year, total of 28 lakh candidates registered for the CUET UG exam. Among these Banaras Hindu University and Delhi University received highest number of applicants.
NTA releases the CUET intimation slip for the registered candidates. This document contains information on the city where the allotted exam centre is located, exam date, slot, and paper. The CUET 2024 admit card is expected to be released in third week of May 2024. Candidates will have to download their admit cards three days prior to the actual date of the exam. CUET UG 2024 is expected to be conducted in 295 cities across India and abroad.

CUET UG Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have met the eligibility criteria set by NTA to apply and appear for CUET 2024. The eligibility parameters are as follows:

Students should have passed Class 12 from a recognised board in Science or a relevant stream to be admitted to bachelor’s degree programmes in the Central Universities.

Students in Class 12 who are yet to appear for the Board exam are also eligible to apply.
- There is no age limit for appearing in the CUET UG 2024 exam.

How to fill CUET Application Form 2024
Step 1: Registration
The first step is to register for the CUET 2024 by visiting the official website of the exam. To begin with the registration process, candidates must click on the 'New Registration' tab and read the instructions carefully before proceeding. Fill the registration form with their personal, contact details and address and choose a password and security question. Upon entering the security pin, their registration process will be complete. Candidates will receive the username and password on their registered email ID and SMS. On sucessful registration, Candidates must enter the following details to complete the CUET UG application form:

2. Education Details:Â In this section, candidates have to enter their qualifying exam details such as the name of the board/college, passing year, marks obtained, and percentage scored. The fields has to be filled as follows:

Step 3: Examination Centre Selection: Candidates must choose two examination states and city choices in the preferential order in which they wish to appear for the exam.
Step 4: University/Programme Selection: Candidates have to apply for one or more universities and programmes from the dropdown menu and click on the Add button. Candidates will be able to change the selected universities/programmes by clicking on the ‘Update’ tab.
Step 5: Test Paper/Subject Selection: Candidates will have to select a minimum of three and a maximum of 10 subjects or papers. Along with the subject selection, candidates also hav to select the medium or language of the question paper they wish to opt for. In case of selecting less than 10 subjects, candidates have to select NA: Not Applicable option for the rest of the subject fields.

Step 6: Upload Photograph and Signature
At this stage, candidates have to upload their scanned photographs and signature as per the prescribed specifications. The following table brings the details of the documents to be uploaded.

After this step, candidates have to verify every detail entered and also verify their email id. Candidates will receive an OTP in the email id and upon entering that, they will be redirected to the CUET 2024 application fee payment section.
Step 7: Application Fee Payment
Candidates have to pay the CUET 2024 application fee online (net banking/ credit card/ debit card/ UPI/ Wallet). It may be noted that candidates’ application fee status (paid/ not paid) would appear on the form.

After that, candidates had to select the payment mode among Net Banking, Cards and UPI and complete the payment process.
Upon successful payment, an application confirmation message was displayed on the screen and the confirmation message and PDF was sent to the candidates’ registered email IDs as well.

Candidates have to follow the steps given below to make changes to the CUET 2024 application form:
