Chitkara University reserves seats for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates as per the policy of the state government. There are 25% seats reserved for bonafide candidates of Himachal Pradesh at HP campus of the university. At the Punjab campus, there are 15% seats reserved for Punjab domicile candidates.

Yes, there is an age limit to apply for B.E. at Chitkara University. Only candidates born on or after October 1, 2004 are eligible to apply in academic cycle 2026-2027.
