Chitkara University reserves seats for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates as per the policy of the state government. There are 25% seats reserved for bonafide candidates of Himachal Pradesh at HP campus of the university. At the Punjab campus, there are 15% seats reserved for Punjab domicile candidates.

Yes, there is an age limit to apply for B.E. at Chitkara University. Only candidates born on or after October 1, 2004 are eligible to apply in academic cycle 2026-2027.

Yes, you can get admission in B.E. at Chitkara University without JEE (Mains) on the basis of Class 12 merit if you get minimum 70% aggregate in Class 12 or minimum 70% aggregate in PCM.

NIT Hamirpur CCMT cutoff 2026 for the OBC AI category ranged from 321 to 514 in the third round. The NIT Hamirpur M.Tech cutoff 2026 was released up to the third round for admission to the PG-level courses for various All India quota categories.

The score needed would depend on the category, round and chosen specialisation. For the General AI category, the round 3 cutoff ranged from 358 to 556. Hence, this category students need a score of at least 358 to be qualified for admission.
