The admission process for Chitkara University Institute of Engineering and Technology is dependent on Entrance exam scores such as JEE Mains for BE/ BTech. Though all courses such as BCA also requires Personal Interviews for the final selections. Interested students need to also complete the course eligibility as per the institute.

The HPU Cutoff 2024 was out for all round and categories for the NEET SS entrance exam for admission to DM/MCh/DNB courses. The lowest rank to get into HPU is 2322,  according to the closing cutoff in the last round in 2024 for the General AI category quota.

While the selections will now be done based on Personal Interviews only.

To study BCA from Chitkara University Institute of Engineering and Technology students have to complete the eligibility of having passed Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate though the selection process only requires personal interviews to finalise admissions for both BCA and BCA with AI & ML.

To study BE/ BTech from Chitkara University Institute of Engineering and Technology students have to either:

• For candidates with JEE Main scores: Pass class 12/ diploma in a relevant field with at least 60% aggregate 
• For candidates without JEE Main scores: Pass class 12/ diploma in a relevant field with at least 70% aggregate

3. Send in the completed application form along with the required documents, including a passport-sized photograph & a Demand Draft of the application fee of INR 1100. The Demand Draft should be drawn in favor of Chitkara University & payable at Chandigarh.
