The academic environment at Chitkara University is moderately competitive but not overly stressful. Many students are motivated to achieve good grades and secure strong placements, which naturally creates a healthy sense of competition in classrooms and projects. At the same time, the atmosphere is quite supportive—students often help each other with assignments, group work, and exam preparation.

Most students focus on building practical skills, participating in activities, and maintaining consistent performance rather than only chasing top ranks. If you stay dedicated, attend classes regularly, and work on improving your skills, you

No, it's not easy to get admission in IIT Mandi. Students have to meet the basic eligibility and get really good scores in accepted tests. The competition is high. With IIT Mandi being one of the top Engineering institutes of the country, the cutoff is high too. But, with right planning, students can get a seat at the institute.

Yes, students can get admission in IIT Mandi with a rank of 10000 in JEE Advanced. But at this rank, admission to the top specialisations, such as CSE would not be possible. Students can get admission in Mechanical Engineering, General Engineering, Engineering Physics, and more. Interested students can go through the past year cutoff records to know more.

Yes, students can get admission in IIT Mandi without JEE exam. But this is not applicable for the flagship BTech programme. For BTech admission at any IIT, students have to appear for JEE Main + Advanced exams. However, for the other programmes, such as MBA, MTech, BSc, etc., other exams are accepted.
