The last date to apply for GIBS Bengaluru using MAT or CMAT scores isn't fixed every year, as it depends on when the exam results are announced. The college usually opens the application window soon after results are out and keeps it open for a few weeks while shortlisting candidates for the next rounds.

  • Submit your application as soon as possible after your MAT or CMAT results are declared.

  • Shortlisting involves group discussions and personal interviews, so early applications get more time to prepare.

  • Seats can fill quickly, so waiting until the last moment is risky.

If you plan to take admission at GIBS, being proactive with your applica

Management Quota admissions for the BE programme at Sapthagiri College of Engineering usually open slightly earlier than the general counselling, often starting in May or June. While there is no rigid single date, seats are filled on a first-come, first-served basis for those who meet the eligibility criteria. Prospective BE students are encouraged to visit the campus during this window to submit their applications and lock in their seats before the general counselling rounds conclude.

Absolutely! The non-Karnataka students can either compete for a seat under the 30% COMEDK quota, which is available for students from all over India, or apply directly under the 25% Management quota. But for the management quota, the costs would be higher.

The Supernumerary Quota (SNQ) is an additional 5% of seats available at Sapthagiri College of Engineering for the BE program. These seats are reserved for EWS category students and have performed well in entrance exams. If you qualify for an SNQ seat, your tuition fees are going to be drastically reduced. These seats are over and above the regular intake, providing extra opportunities for deserving candidates.

The seat distribution at Sapthagiri College of Engineering follows a specific quota system for the BE course. 45% of the total seats are reserved for Karnataka students through the KCET (CET) quota. Another 30% is open to both Karnataka and non-Karnataka students via the COMEDK quota. The remaining 25% of BE seats are filled through the Management quota. This structured approach ensures that the college maintains a mix of local talent and students from across the country.

After the entrance results are declared in late April or May, the selection and choice-filling process begins. For BE at Sapthagiri College of Engineering, the actual seat allotment rounds through KEA and COMEDK typically stretch through the summer months. By August, most students receive their final college assignments. This timeline allows the college to verify documents and complete the formal admission paperwork before the new BE academic session officially kicks off in late August or September.

The entrance exam season for BE courses in Sapthagiri College of Engineering is at its peak between April and May. KCET and COMEDK exams happen during the same period. JEE Main Session 2 also takes place in April. The results of these entrance exams play an important role as they decide your fate for the subsequent counselling sessions. For any BE aspirant, the two-month period between April and May is the most important period to score well and secure a high rank.
