No, PCM is not a mandatory stream to be eligible for BTech courses at Institute of Engineering and Management. However, candidates who pass from PCM stream will have a lower minimum aggregate requirement than students of other steams.
For PCM students, the highest minimum aggregate limit is 50% for BTech admissions while other streams have the same limit at 75%.

No, candidates cannot get direct admission in BTech courses offered by Institute of Engineering and Management. Candidates will need to appear for IEMJEE in order to qualify for BTech admissions. Selection will be done during the following counselling rounds.

Well don't worry, placements at GIBS Bangalore are actually decent.
- Average placements are around 7–8 LPA
- the highest package goes up to around 15–16 LPA
- Many students get placed in MNCs, startups, and consulting roles

St. Xavier's College Kolkata has good infrastructure facilities for its students. The college has hostel, labs, library, canteen and other such facilities. Mother Teresa Girls' Hostel is for female students and Father Leeming Boys' Hostel is for male students of St Xavier's College, Kolkata.

University of Madras is a state government university in Chennai. Madras University has also been recognised by the UGC. BTech & MBA are the flagship courses of the university. It has been ranked 38th under "University" category, 68th under "Overall" category & 18th under "State Public Universities" by NIRF 2025. For B.Tech admission in Lovely Professional University, only your 11th–12th results are not always sufficient alone. You must have at least 60% in 12th (PCM/required subjects), but admission is generally subject to qualifying LPUNEST, which acts as an entrance as well as a scholarship test.
However, there is some flexibility: if you have a valid national-level score like JEE Main, the university may consider it instead of LPUNEST in certain cases. Still, LPUNEST is strongly recommended and often required for eligibility or scholarships.
