AME CET 2026: Application Form (OUT), Admit Card, Exam Pattern & Syllabus

The Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test (AME CET) is a national-level entrance test for the license issuance course of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. Along with that, the AME CET entrance test scores are also applicable for Aeronautical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering courses in some of the approved institutes by the government bodies in India.

AME CET 2026 application form is now available at amecet.in. The candidates can also buy the offline application forms at the designated centres. While filling the application form, they will have to provide the required details. For General and OBC male candidates, the application fee is INR 1600. Female candidates and SC/ST male candidates have to pay INR 1400. For online application forms, the fee has to be paid through net banking, credit card, and debit card. Offline application forms will be available after the fee is paid at the centre. The candidates can submit the offline application forms to the AME CET Corporate Office, WZ-13-E, First Floor, Asalatpur, A2 Block, Janakpuri, New Delhi, PIN - 110058. 

AME CET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The authorities have released the AME CET 2026 eligibility criteria on the official website. Candidates appearing for the exam are advised to check the official eligibility criteria before filling the application form. The AME CET eligibility criteria comprise exam details, minimum mark required, age limit and others. • Candidates should pass the 10+2 Board exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) or equivalent AICTE-approved 3-year engineering diploma in any stream or any higher qualification in science with PCM at the time of admission.  
• Candidate must have secured a minimum aggregate of 45 per cent marks in 10+2 in PCM or equivalent.  
• Candidates who are eligible for admission to B. Tech Courses are also eligible for the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course.  
• Candidate age should be between 16 to 28 years at the time of admission.  
• Candidates must not have colour blindness or any physical disabilities.  
• Apart from the above-mentioned eligibility criteria, the aspirants need to showcase certain skill sets, which include subject knowledge, practical and problem-solving attitude, flexibility, and team spirit, to name a few. 

The authorities have released the official list of the AME CET 2026 exam centres on the official website. Candidates appearing in the exam are advised to refer to the AME CET exam centre list to know where the entrance exams will be conducted. While filling out the AME CET 2026 application form, the candidates will have to provide their preferred exam centre. Candidates are advised to fill in their exam centre preference carefully. The authorities have released the AME CET 2026 syllabus on the official website amecet.in. Applicants appearing for the exam must refer to the AME CET 2026 syllabus for their preparation. The syllabus of AME CET comprises important chapters and topics asked in the exam and is based on the 10+2 standard qualifying examination. Candidates will be able to expect the AME CET 2026 admit card tentatively in the first week of May 2026. To download the admit card, they will have to use their registered mobile number and password. Through the AME CET admit card, the candidates can check their allotted exam centre, date, timings, guidelines and more. All of the details in the admit card has to be checked carefully before downloading it. At the exam centre, the candidates will have to bring their hall ticket and one valid identity proof. If there are any mistakes in the admit card, the students will have to contact the authorities. The allotted exam centres cannot be changed.
