Colleges select students using either Class 12 marks or exam scores.
While top colleges usually require high exam scores, many others accept you based just on your school grades.
For these grade-based admissions, colleges might ask you to do a group discussion or a personal interview before giving you a seat.
To be completely sure how your favorite college picks its students, it is best to check their official website or call their help desk.
