Yes, students can apply for the BTech (Lateral Entry) admissions after satisfying the set eligibility criteria. They also need to appear for the JELET exam and secure a valid rank. If one of these requirements isn't fulfilled, admission to Techno India University BTech (Lateral Entry) won't be possible.

Yes. All SC, ST, and PwD undergraduate students receive a complete 100% tuition fee waiver at the time of admission. However, they are still required to pay the standard one-time institutional deposits, semester exam charges, and separate hostel or mess expenses.

No. All institutional and hostel dues must be cleared as a single lump-sum payment during the semester registration window. The college does not accept cash or monthly instalments; transactions must be made online via the designated State Bank Collect portal.

Since, you have not mentioned the exam name, I am assuming you are talking about your rank in AP ICET.

With an AP ICET rank of 1,763 under the EWS category, you have a strong chance of securing a regular MCA seat at the College of Commerce, Management and Computer Science. If regular seats fill up or if you prefer a specialized shift, then do not lock at first. You can keep the self-financing quota as a reliable backup choice.

Yes. General, OBC, and EWS students with an annual family income under ₹1 Lacs get a 100% tuition waiver. If the family income is between ₹1 Lacs and ₹5 Lakh, you receive a 67% tuition waiver automatically upon submitting a valid income certificate.

Techno University India provides scholarships to students based on merit. The university helps students financially in different ways. They offer eligible students financial assistance in collaboration with national banking institutions. Apart from this, one meritorious student gets the Bharat Ratna Shri Pranab Mukherjee Merit Scholarship every year.

Honestly, for BTech CSE I'd pick Thapar. It has a stronger engineering reputation, better placement opportunities and a stronger peer group overall. Chitkara is decent too, but if you have both options, I'd go with Thapar.

Yes, Thapar is a good option for BTech. Academics, placements, faculty and campus exposure are all pretty good. Especially for CSE, COE, ECE and ENC, there are good opportunities. If you're getting your preferred branch, I'd definitely consider it.
